WSC Meeting - Wednesday 22 March

    By admin | April 6, 2006

Wimbledon Speakers once again performed at their best, in this week's Surrey Shield competition. This annual team event, hosted by City of London club, drew 4 teams from the area, all tackling the subject of 'That's just the way it is?.

As always, there were extremely diverse takes on this challenging topic, ranging from love to taxes to Oyster Cards! Lots of originality and inspired ideas, especially from Croydon SC, made for a closely contested evening. Congratulations must go though, to Suzanne, Katherine, and our newest talent, Lee, for bringing home first prize for WSC
