First WSC meeting of the speaking year - 13 September

    By admin | September 17, 2006

A storming start to speaking year on Wednesday with a full room of speakers - first revealing the surprises on the summer, then all things new in the 'topics' impromptu speech section, in whch Barbara was voted as presenting the best topic.

In the second half of the evening some admirable advocacy was produced in response to the 'scenarios' given to each speaker by chairman Michael.

The next regular meeting is on Wednesday 27 September.

Another date for the diary is the 'Speaker of the Year Dinner' in central London - featuring Ester Rantzen, plus Wimbledon's own Suzanne and Katherine!
